BWG_autumn votive_1Are you hosting a Harvest Party?  After dark, light these pumpkin spice candles and watch the patterns flicker and a glow on the leaves. Make these last until next season with our everlasting preserved leaf technique in Bittersweet Walnut Grove: Fall Thyme!

  • 4 small glass vases or jars
  • 1/4 cup white glue
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 yards natural twine
  • 1 foam brush
  • Scissors
  • 4 fall scented votive candles
  • 16 preserved leaves

In a glass jar, combine glue and water. Mix until smooth.

Brush glue mixture onto the backside of leaves.  Place one leaf on each side of the vase.  Repeat to cover each vase.

Cut 4 pieces from the twine, approximately 12 inches each. Wrap a twine piece around each vase and tie a knot or bow to secure twine.

Fill each leaf covered vase with your favorite autumn scented votive candle.
