Kristy an author, photographer and graphic designer became a shutterbug at a young age and that hasn’t changed. If you’re passing through her farm country you might find her trekking into rows of corn or knee deep in mud documenting rural American lifestyle and history. Inspired by aging structures, letters from the past, fields of rolled hay, relics of yesteryear, and the wild tangling branches of old oak trees. She writes an online journal of insight, simplicity, and country life.
Writing and journalism has always been a part of Kristy’s everyday. She began writing a blog in 2009 combining her eye for American beauty and a simplistic perspective on life; titled Life-n-Reflection – a challenge to look at life in reflection. Her dream of being a published author came shortly after. Kristy has written multiple books and articles for publications. Sharing layers of moments captured in photography and inspired projects to bring each season’s gifts into the home. This is her daily virtue and often sparks into her readers lives.
